Delicious food. Decoration that needs a little love, but they have the best egg-roll in town.

I love the eggroll and Chinese dishes of this restaurant, the rice is excellent and the employers are great too, I eat every day !!!!

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a outstanding evening and the place was surely one of the reasons for the happy celebration. The crew contributed in a graceful manner, the food was extremely good and my buddies were very happy. We shall no dout visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Home Decor very old but also excellent service and food

I can't put a star because the waitress is really super friendly and the service was quick.For food though ... it was very expensive for what I got. For about $ 50 I didn't have much and I took it to go. The general tao chicken, super liquid sauce, a huge piece of ginger, tons of peppers and 5 very small pieces of chicken for like $ 12 ... I didn't even have rice with it.Otherwise a chicken chow mein with a single piece of chicken and chicken fried rice without chicken, but with a small piece of chicken bone!We don't go there for the decor, but hey, it's very old and not very pleasant to look at.

China Garden has been a a go-to border crossing Chinese food staple for generations. It still has that mid 20th century flair for decor and the food unforgettable. A super selection of dishes. All of the ones I've tried so far have been delicious and unlike any other Chinese restaurants I've tried in the past. Always friendly service here and I've done a few over and back take out trips just to get at this food.

Unchanged since the 60s! Its a real st jean institution. when you want chinese. you don't ask yourself where you are going. located just opposite the Capitole cinema. very convenient . the food is good. the portions are very generous. in short . he's going to be there for another 60 years.

JUST WOW !!The dishes are ultra tasty. The best Chinese restaurant in Saint Jean sur Richelieu. This place has never changed their decor since the opening ten years ago but it remains family. Nothing fancy but warm. The staff and the owner are really nice. I just love it. I recommand it.

I don't even understand how this restaurant is still in service. Messy and mismanaged. I had it delivered only once and after a little over 2 hours, the delivery man finally arrives, he had to close the restaurant before making the deliveries. Calvary, I think the waitresses could have mentioned.In my dish I had sour chicken, the restaurant being closed I had to wait until the next day to complain. So I introduced myself on the spot and the owner told me that it was not possible, he entered the kitchen and came out with what seemed to be fish, telling me my very fresh chicken was watching Madame. I tell him it's not chicken and he leaves. I too left with the firm intention of NEVER eating anything that comes from this place again.I don't have enough of my 10 fingers to count the number of times this place has been closed for INSALUBRITÉ by MAPAQ. It says a lot enough it seems to me. If you care about your health don't eat the foods that come out of this questionable kitchen

Had better Chinese food, but gave it 4 stars because the girl at the front desk taking my order was super nice and friendly and the food came fast as well.

I ordered a meal for 2 ..... 1h40 later the deliveryman finally arrived. The food was cold. Really very ordinary as a restaurant. Do not recommend at all

Complete sexist trash. Tried to apply here, was told " We do not hire women because women arent strong. " She didnt even give me a chance, just saw that I am a woman and declined me right away. Mind you, I work out, a lot. I am able to lift 50lb easy, but just because I'm 5'1 I didnt get a chance. Their place looks like a rundown alley restaurant.. please dont eat there..

Eating there is a bit like a tradition! The food is not bad it costs a 649 and the staff are extremely welcoming smiling and warm! Even when the waitresses serve you, you feel like you are part of the family! The decor is dated but there's nothing better for a moment of nostalgia relaxation while eating a good dish! 😉

That evening, August 25, I ordered a meal for 12 people, a No. 3 for 3. and a No. 4 for 3. After 1 hour and 30 minutes for delivery, I received 9 soups. Won Tong .. for 75 $ .. I call the restaurant in front of the deliveryman .. I spoke to the same person who did not care ... ..do not pay ..and I have the soups..ne not order a this place..c is a nonprofessional service..no consideration for their client..have gone to dinner at the Thai palace..fast service and excellent food..and very professional owner ..

Disappointed, haven't eat here in years. I just had delivery and everything was tasteless, really low quality food. I intended to be a returning costumer, but it seems i will look somewhere else for chinese food.

AC is exactly 1hr 50 minutes and my order is not disappointing arrivé.Très

Fast and superb service. The food at this restaurant is simply a classic. Everything is fresh and delicious. It looks very old, but it's worth the trip so much that it's succulent. Chinese food lovers will love it.

This spot is worth giving a shot. They have large portions for fair prices. Consistently clean and with good mood. Would recommend to others.

Unpleasant experience. We called on July 27 at 5:50 p.m. and spoke with the receptionist from Quebec. Since we did not have access to the menu, we asked for a vegetarian recommendation. The lady then insulted me arrogantly and hung up the phone. Too bad for the owners.

Ultra fast service. The dishes are excellent. I ordered a dinner number 4 for 1 person and it was excellent. Value for money very affordable. On the other hand side deco is quite old.

Had the #1. It's 12$. You get what you pay for: No chicken in either the fried rice or the chow mein (soggy greens). The riblets are ok. The egg rolls are good: A few people come in just for those.

Totally decent for what it is. Notably friendly, helpful service.
